Leadership is the process of influencing others with team work so that they work with enthusiasm in pursuit of their goals, according to Davis and Newstrom (2003). On the other hand, we think of “work environment” as the set of qualities, traits or characteristics that are relatively permanent in a specific work environment and which are perceived, felt or experienced by the people who make up the organisation, while also influencing their behaviour.
The work environment is directly linked to productivity, commitment and, as a result, to a good leadership style. The organisational environment, in a way, is made up of the actions of each person that is part of the company. While a positive environment is oriented to general goals, a negative one can destroy the work environment, creating conflict situations and weak performance.
