But how do we mentally prepare for this? It\u2019s time to grab a cup of coffee and take note of what we\u2019re going find out in this post.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We recently explored the theory of Carole&nbsp;Dweck, a researcher at Stanford University, on the types of fixed and growth&nbsp;mindset, understanding that failure isn\u2019t a permanent condition but a temporary condition instead.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Learn more about this by reading&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>our<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>&nbsp;post \u201cConstant self-improvement as a&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>must<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>: Growth&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Mindset<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u201d<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Powerful beliefs!<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mindsets&nbsp;are powerful beliefs. They exist within each person\u2019s mind, and&nbsp;they&nbsp;can be changed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The simple fact of knowing that there are two types of&nbsp;mindsets&nbsp;seems to encourage people to face challenges&nbsp;differently.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although we\u2019re not usually aware of these beliefs,&nbsp;we&nbsp;can learn to pay attention and listen to them. Once we \u201crecognise\u201d them, we\u2019ll be able to work on them to change them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This can certainly be applied in the business field: \u201cWhen entire\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2014\/11\/how-companies-can-profit-from-a-growth-mindset\">companies embrace a growth&nbsp;mindset<\/a>, their employees report feeling far more empowered and committed; they also receive far greater organizational support for collaboration and innovation.\u201d This is a fragment of&nbsp;Dweck\u2019s&nbsp;article for Harvard Business Review.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the strategies we can apply to develop the&nbsp;mindset&nbsp;within work teams are:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 Develop an action and growth plan<\/strong>&nbsp;(individual and group): in this plan, the challenges that lie ahead for the team must be&nbsp;clear.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 Create space for reflection<\/strong>: in this space, members are able to express their concerns about their challenges and share their experiences&nbsp;freely.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 Follow-up on actions<\/strong>: in this sense, the implementation and monitoring of the action plan adds accuracy and allows making progress on projects.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-heading\">Do you want to continue learning about this topic?
