{"id":24400,"date":"2018-08-23T12:53:00","date_gmt":"2018-08-23T15:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.pdainternational.net\/?p=24400"},"modified":"2022-05-15T12:55:27","modified_gmt":"2022-05-15T15:55:27","slug":"reach-your-goals-with-an-effective-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.pdainternational.net\/en\/reach-your-goals-with-an-effective-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Reach your goals with an effective team"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>An effective team works towards the achievement of a specific objective which will benefit the organisation and its members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A survey by the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) in &nbsp;2016 shows that 52.3% of young people think teamwork is the most sought characteristic in an organisation, followed by communicative ability (33.3%) and creativity (14.4%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a person feels part of a whole their commitment increases and hence, teamwork works as a propeller for a productive environment, as well as having other benefits such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Getting better ideas:<\/strong> the possibility of brainstorming, where everyone can contribute their vision, offers a much broader picture and thus various routes to reach the goal.<\/li><li><strong>Taking advantage of the differences:<\/strong> Each project requires an ability to perform, which will become an opportunity to highlight the skills and talent of each member.<\/li><li><strong>Taking the right decisions<\/strong>: The availability of several points of view will be enriching and allow the team or leader to pick the one that works best.<\/li><li><strong>Reducing stress:<\/strong> a worker may feel overwhelmed by the burden of responsibility that they have when working alone; whereas, while working in a collaborative, supportive team environment the feeling of stress is reduced as the team members can work inter-dependently.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Keys to strengthen teamwork:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Define the role of each member.
